Tussar Silk

Tussar Silk also known as Kosa Silk is obtained from the cocoons of larvae of wild silkworms. This fabric is also famous for its deep and dull gold sheen. The woven tussar is light in feel, airy and coarse and has a comfortable drape and gives an elegant look. These are mainly found in the states of Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chattisgarh and Bhagalpur in India. Tussar silks come in eye catching combinations that are a shopper’s delight.
